Human Resource Group Inc. (HRG Recruiting) respects the privacy of individuals in all aspects of our business operations. We have a long-standing commitment to protecting the personal information of job seekers when providing services to our clients. Personal information is defined as any identifiable information about a job seeker, such as their résumé, contact details or opinions about the job seeker.
HRG Recruiting has appointed a Privacy Officer who is accountable for compliance with this policy. Your personal information is only collected, used and disclosed by HRG Recruiting in accordance with this Privacy Policy or otherwise as permitted by law.
Whenever possible, we have also attempted to ensure that our clients and other organizations with which we deal respect privacy rights and protect personal privacy. However, you need to be aware that this Privacy Policy does not apply to any organizations other than HRG Recruiting, and that we do not review or control the privacy policies and practices of any outside organization.
Why do we collect and use your personal information?
As a job seeker using HRG Recruiting's services, you are asked to provide certain pieces of information in order for us to provide you with the best possible service. In addition to your contact details, your résumé, and a description of the type of work you are looking for, your file may include the following:

HRG Recruiting never collects more personal information than is needed to fulfill these purposes, unless lawfully requested by the client and consented to by the job seeker.
When do we disclose your personal information and to whom?
Your personal information is never traded, sold or leased by us to any external companies. Your information is only disclosed for HRG Recruiting's legitimate business purposes or as required to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
In the normal course of business, we disclose your personal information to our clients when we feel there is a potential for a job placement. As a job seeker, you are relying on us to share such information. We only provide your information to employers if there is a job opening that is well-suited for you, and we only provide information required and requested to make an informed decision regarding a job candidate.
We may share information with our affiliates, partners, service providers, contractors or other companies (collectively "representatives") that we use to provide full staffing services. However, we only release limited information as required for the function that will be performed by the representative on our behalf. We also ensure that every contract we enter into with a representative clearly outlines the representative's obligation to protect your personal information and live up to the principles of privacy.
An example of who we share your limited personal information with would include organizations that perform background checks including criminal, educational and credit checks as required by the client.
Have you consented?
Having read this policy and by using our services and providing us with your personal information, we imply your consent to the collection, use, disclosure and sharing of your personal information as specified herein. If HRG Recruiting will be using or disclosing your information for purposes that we do not feel are obvious to you, we will obtain your express consent. For example, if you provide us with contact details for your previous employers, we will imply your consent to HRG Recruiting contacting them in order to check your references. Otherwise, we will seek your approval before contacting previous employers listed on your rrésumé.
How long do we retain your information?
We retain your information as long as we believe you are referable for employment, or longer if required by law. If you request HRG Recruiting to destroy your file, we will do so, subject to legislative restrictions. For example, for contract work, we must retain your payroll information for seven years after you are taken off our payroll in accordance with tax regulations. HRG Recruiting retains and destroys personal information in accordance with internal record retention procedures that are compliant with applicable laws.
How is your personal information kept secure?
We have procedures and policies in place to ensure that your personal information, in both paper and electronic format, is secure. For example, we require the following:
Note that your information may be shared with clients via e-mail. When using unencrypted e-mail, there are inherent risks of interception over which HRG Recruiting has no control. In using the services of HRG Recruiting, you are aware of such risks and understand that we take no responsibility and accept no liability for any such interception.
How can you access your personal information to check its accuracy?
HRG Recruiting relies on the information provided by you, as well as third parties such as those providing references, educational institutions or those conducting background checks. You may at any time make a written request for access to your personal information by using our "Access to Personal Information Form." An administrative fee of $30.00 is required to perform your access request. Please request this form from your Recruiter or email info@hrgrecriting.com.
HRG Recruiting strives to maintain accurate records of your personal information; however, this cannot be achieved without your help. In this ongoing effort, we ask you to provide us with your most up-to-date information. Let us know of any personal information you have given us in the past that is incomplete, inaccurate, or no longer relevant. It will be our pleasure to make appropriate modifications.
